Cody Jarrett is an American feature filmmaker. Initially a musician living in Tampa Bay, Florida, his Hollywood career started with being cast by director Renny Harlin and producer Joel Silver in a supporting role in 1990's Andrew Dice Clay film The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Following the film's release, Jarrett played music in Los Angeles, both as a solo artist and in various bands while working as a crew member on other films, making short films, and acting in commercials. He shares the name of the leading villain in White Heat, portrayed by James Cagney. His character is ranked 26 in the list of AFI's 100 Years... 100 Heroes and Villains.
